The solar power plant in Vestby with a total of 1.1 MWp and almost 2,000 panels. The building in Vestby, which is managed and developed by Propcap AS, started the year with a new mission: to produce clean energy for the benefit of the tenant, the building owner and the planet.

Propcap is a full-scale real estate house that manages commercial real estate in warehouses, logistics and offices in central locations in Oslo and the surrounding area. Measures to increase the energy efficiency of the buildings in the portfolio have a high focus in the real estate company.

- Propcap invests in energy initiatives. By purchasing the solar plant, we improve the energy character and strengthen the environmental profile of the property. It is a profitable investment for both the economy and the climate,” says Jo Espen Vindøy, partner at Propcap.

Ole-Bjorn Horn, Client Executive at Sunday Power, praises Propcap for taking green moves.

- This project shows how much value can be created on an otherwise untapped roof. The solar plant will produce over 900,000 kilowatt hours a year. That is equivalent to a climate saving of over 400 tonnes of CO2 a year.

Attractive for tenants with locally produced, renewable electricity
The tenant in the building is CT-Group which now uses the solar power produced on the roof. CT-Group is a global supplier of technology for events, and has worked on the Ski World Championships in Trondheim 2025.
